An Open Letter on Veterans Day
To Those Who Know That Service Doesn’t End,
There’s a moment many of us don’t talk about.
It happens in the quiet—after the deployments are done, the gear is turned in, and the last formation dissolves. One minute you’re surrounded by purpose, by urgency, by teammates who would carry your weight without being asked. The next, it’s just you, a DD-214, and the weight of the inevitable question: What now?
I remember that moment, and know with certainty that each of our founding members at Arcana does as well.
I want to begin this note with a simple truth: We see you. We remember. And we are thankful.
This Veterans Day, our message is about recognition, not only of your service in uniform, but of your continued value long after the uniform comes off.
At Arcana Innovations, we were built in that space between what was and what could be. Founded by former special operations and national security professionals, we launched this company during that raw, uncertain transition to “chapter two.” What we found was that the mission hadn’t ended. It had just changed. And so had we.
We built Arcana as a way to stay in the fight—but this time, on the side of innovation to ensure that emerging technologies meet the standard the warfighter deserves. To make sure those on the front lines never have to question whether the tools in their hand were designed with them in mind.
This work isn’t theoretical for us. It’s personal.
We’ve seen tech fail where it mattered most—and we’ve seen what’s possible when design, purpose, and field wisdom converge. At Arcana, we bring warfighter insight to every stage of development, integration, and fielding—because operational experience isn’t just relevant. It’s irreplaceable.
It is for this reason that our team is built around the veteran perspective—the kind that remembers what it feels like to rely on a piece of gear not because it’s impressive, but because it’s your lifeline.
This Veterans Day, we’re not just thanking you for your service. We thank you for your continued courage in showing up in new ways.
To the warfighters who became innovators.
To the teammates who became mentors.
To those still searching for chapter two—you’re not behind. You’re just beginning.
And to the next generation on the line:
We see you. We fight for you.
We are building the tools you deserve.
If you’re standing at that crossroads—ready to build something new, unsure of the path, but still wired to serve—we built Arcana for you. We’re always looking for those with talent, perspective, and earned experience. Clarity isn’t a prerequisite, just conviction. There’s meaningful work ahead, and we’d be honored to walk it with you.
And if you’re carrying more than most people see—if things feel heavy or uncertain—please know this: you’re not alone. Whether we’ve served together or never met, you are part of a community that won’t let you fade into silence. We’ve been in those quiet places, too. If you need someone to talk to, we’re here to listen. No pressure. No judgment. Just people who care, and who mean it.
From all of us at Arcana Innovations—Thank you.
Respectfully,
Jackie Giunta
